| The GIC introduced GIS to many of our neighboring cities and counties and provides assistance at a variety of levels. Many local government GIS staff attended CSU, Chico and some trained as GIC interns. |

| Local and county government continue to be major GIC clients. While most projects include setting up parcel and street address systems, we also provide assistance on a variety of special projects. The GIC maintains a close relationship to many local agencies as they provide a training ground for new ideas.
